AABNet as world leading organization is leveraging ongoing global and continental initiatives aimed at livestock genetic improvement. To achieve tropical livestock genetic gains, AABNet is set to work with, complement and get support from other partners to deliver on its objectives. This pillar will foster the multi-stakeholder aspects.

As currently constituted, AABNet is operationally creating suitable interfaces for strong and long-term engagements between academia, industry, farmers organisations (breed associations), public sector, philanthropic and development agencies to drive the development and disseminations of livestock improved genetics and broader genetic improvement solutions in Africa. In the long term, AABNet will become a platform of highly knowledgeable animal breeders and influential professionals with capacity to provide support and advice on animal genetics and livestock improvement across the continent.
